This is a piece of Kiln Dried Oregon Myrtlewood.
It can be turned on a lathe, cut into smaller pieces and used on a lathe to make pens (which is what I do) or you can use it as hobby wood for other projects.
The number written on it is for identification purposes only.
This wood is new, as in it was not salvaged from another piece. It never had a package as it is a chunk of wood. This piece was cut from the original log and kiln dried. It measures approximately 12 " long X 3 1/8" wide X 1 3/8" tall. It is not completely square.
Color may slightly vary due to lighting, flash, or camera model.
